About GTA 6 Waypoints

GTA 6 Waypoints is an independent fan site that helps you finish GTA 6: the map, every collectible, every trophy and the full 100% checklist. Every claim on the site is labelled, sourced and dated, and we never publish leaks.

Updated

What this site is

A completion companion for Grand Theft Auto VI. When the game launches on November 19, 2026, these pages fill with data we've checked in our own play:

Until launch, we keep one page of everything confirmed about GTA 6, with a source on every line.

Editorial policy

Every claim about the game carries one of four labels:

Label What it means
Confirmed Rockstar, Take-Two, a platform store or a ratings board said it, or we verified it in-game ourselves.
Reported A credible outlet reported it. We name the outlet.
Rumor Not confirmed. Shown with a warning and kept brief. We rarely use it.
Unverified — testing We found it but haven't retested it yet.

How we apply them:

  • Every claim has a source. Each fact links to where it came from, and news pages list their sources at the bottom.
  • Official beats secondary. If an outlet reports an official announcement, we label it Confirmed and swap in Rockstar's or Take-Two's own link as soon as we find it.
  • Reported stays Reported. Interview remarks and an outlet's own reporting don't become Confirmed until there's a new official source.
  • Conflicts stay out. If sources disagree, we leave the detail out until one of them settles it.
  • Every page is dated. The "Updated" date under each headline shows when we last checked it.

No leaks, ever

We don't publish, link to or describe leaked material. That includes leaked footage, files, builds and "insider" claims, and it includes coverage of the leaks themselves.

Why: leaks hurt the people who made the game, they're often wrong, and a guide built on them sends you looking for things that may not exist. We'd rather be a day later and right.

How guides get verified after launch

From November 19, we play the game and check every guide against it:

  1. We find or confirm the item, location or unlock in our own save.
  2. We record it (screenshot or clip) and log it with the date.
  3. The guide goes up labelled Confirmed once it's checked. Anything we haven't retested yet is labelled Unverified until we have.
  4. If a patch changes something, we retest it and move the "Updated" date.

Spotted a mistake? Tell us, ideally with a source or a screenshot. We fix errors quickly and update the date.
